As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Planner at Strategy Maintenance Systems, you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of maintenance strategies for our clients. You will collaborate closely with maintenance teams, engineers, and operations personnel to ensure that maintenance activities are planned and executed effectively, contributing to the overall success of our clients' maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and schedules based on equipment criticality and reliability analysis.

• Coordinate maintenance activities, including shutdowns, turnarounds, and equipment overhauls, to minimise production downtime.

• Optimise spare parts inventory levels to ensure timely availability while minimising carrying costs.

• Utilise maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, analyse performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

• Conduct root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for reliability improvement and cost reduction.

Qualifications:

• Trade certificate or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

• 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, preferably within industries such as mining, manufacturing, oil and gas, or utilities.

• Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) - Primarily Pronto XI and SAP

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret maintenance data and performance metrics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Microsoft project experience
